HA LA-LA located in the tranquil village of Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique, is an ideal retreat for couples seeking a romantic getaway, families wanting to make use of the excellent swimming beaches or water sport enthusiasts. Only a 30 min drive by 4 x 4 by from the Kosi Bay Border HA LA-LA is within walking distance to the beach and all other shops, markets and restaurants. Tucked away behind a sand dune above the main beach the house is sheltered from the hustle and bustle of town and is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day filled with the many attractions and activities offered in Ponta Do Ouro.

HA LA-LA sleeps 10 guests comfortably and has 3 rooms and 2 showers:
Main bedroom has a Double bed  - sliding doors leading onto patio

2nd bedroom has  2 single beds

3rd bedroom (Bunkroom) has 3 bunk beds – sliding doors leading to patio – en-suite bathroom

All Bedrooms have fans and the bathrooms have a shower, toilet and basin.

The open plan kitchen/dining area is fully equipped with a fridge and freezer, hob (no oven), Microwave, washing machine, all cooking utensils, crockery and small appliances. The kitchen extends to the patio with sliding doors to create a secluded open plan sitting area.

There is no TV only a CD player.

Daily cleaning:

Daily cleaning can be arranged with our caretaker, Gorilla, at R50 per day.(no laundry)

Costs and what you’ll need
1. Your Passport, Entry is free for South Africans when entering Mozambique.

2. Letter from your insurance company stating you have comprehensive cover or 3rd party insurance (available at the border) about R150 for your car and R80 for your trailer.

3. Vehicle Registration papers

4. Letter from your bank if vehicle Is financed so you can take vehicle out of country.

5. Temporary import permits for your vehicle and whatever you are towing. R15 each.

6. Vehicle and trailer registration papers (If you’re taking them through the border).

7. Transfers from the border can be arranged if you do not have a 4X4 vehicle – secure parking at the border.

Visas (if you do not have a South African passport)
Visas can be obtained from the border at an approximate cost of R500 per passport, Visa requirements can change with little or no notice. Local Markets

Peak season:

R3000 per day (maximum guests 10)

School Holidays:

R250 per person per night

Low season:

R200 per person per night
